1979 wurde Miki Kekenj in Braunschweig geboren, hinein in eine Musikerfamilie, in der seit Generationen das Geigenspiel weitervererbt wird. Er selbst fühlt sich als Grenzgänger zwischen den musikalischen Welten. Miki Kekenj hält nicht nur das Leben als Konzertmeister der Bergischen Symphoniker für eine wunderbare Sache, er geht auch seiner Leidenschaft für Rock- und Popmusik, Soul und Hip-Hop nach. So rappt, komponiert, moderiert und arrangiert er für sein Takeover Ensemble, das mit klassischen Musikern besetzt ist, aber Genregrenzen nur zu gerne sprengt.
