Das Network on Humanitarian Assistance NOHA stellt eine Zusammenarbeit von europäischen Universitäten auf dem Gebiet der humanitären Hilfe dar. Ziel ist es, Studenten interdisziplinär Kenntnisse über Organisation und Struktur humanitärer Hilfe zu vermitteln und sie auf koordinierende Aufgaben in internationalen Organisationen oder ähnlichem vorzubereiten. Der Europäische Studiengang Humanitäre Hilfe wird in Bochum als Zusatzstudiengang mit dem Studienabschluß Master angeboten. Disziplinübergreifende Studien in fünf Teilgebieten (Spezialmodule): Völkerrecht, Geographie/Geopolitik, Medizin / Epidemiologie, Wirtschaftswissenschaft/Management und Anthropologie/Ethnologie. Grundlagenphase mit Einführungsveranstaltungen in Völkerrecht, Wirtschaftswissenschaft, die Gewinnung von Informationen über Gesundheitsprobleme der Bevölkerung, die Entwicklungsforschung, des Umwelt- und Ressourcenschutzes, des Projektmanagements, der Anthropologie und der Organisation von humanitären Hilfsoperationen im Rahmen von staatlichen und nichtstaatlichen Einrichtungen. Zweiter Teil des Studiums mit Geographie/Geopolitik, Völkerrecht und Epidemiologie. Internationale Partneruniversitäten des Projektes:
