Mal mit fragiler, mal mit beschwörender Stimme interpretiert sie Jazz, World Music, Blues und erstaunt durch eine bemerkenswerte sprachliche Vielfalt. Überlieferte Texte aus dem Kosovo und Armenien singt Elina Duni mit derselben Erzählkraft wie Chansons von Jacques Brel. Die Jazzsängerin stammt aus Tirana, lebt seit ihrer Kindheit in der Schweiz und steht als Solistin und mit verschiedenen Formationen weltweit auf der Bühne. Die Tochter eines Regisseurs und einer Schriftstellerin studierte an der Hochschule für Künste in Bern. In Klassik-Pop-et cetera ehrt sie die Beatles, die sie als Kind stets auf dem Walkman begleiteten und auch Charlie Hadens Musik, die sie als Jugendliche stark beeinflusste.
